About

Centives is an economics blog that focuses on the fun and quirky side of economics. It was originally started by students at Lehigh University. We stay away from the political and controversial not because it’s not important (it is!) but because there are much smarter minds than ours at work trying to figure it all out.

We spend most of our time linking to interesting things around the web, and we call them Daily Bulletins. You can find them over here. We also work very hard to produce our own interesting content, we call them Editorials, and you can see a list of the stuff that we wrote over here. Our most popular ones can be seen in the Greatest Hits section.

If you want to stay up to date with what we do and find answers to questions such as “How much do I have to save to go to Hogwarts?” “How many zombies would it take to defeat the Nazis?” and “Are weather prediction sites lying to me?” then follow us on Twitter and Facebook and check back often for our editorials.

We love hearing from you. Feel free to leave a comment on any of our articles – you don’t need to sign in or anything. You can talk to us at our Skype channel: https://join.skype.com/BbexvaRu9bdC. If you really like us and have the time, then drop us an email at Voice@Centives.net We appreciate comments, criticisms, jokes, idle thoughts, witty banter, life lessons, memorable experiences and…well…anything really.

Happy Browsing!
